1. Who we are

The Marketer Solutions (“The Marketer Solutions,” “we,” “us”) provides The Marketer, a lead-management platform for businesses. The Marketer Solutions is the marketing technology division of Soundview Designs Inc. Soundview Designs Inc. provides the service and is responsible for the information practices described in this policy.

This policy covers our website (themarketersolutions.com) and The Marketer platform. Soundview Designs’ own home-technology customers are also covered by the Soundview Designs Privacy Policy at soundviewdesigns.com/privacy-policy.

2. Our two roles

• For businesses that use our platform: we act as a service provider. A business that collects inquiries (for example, through its own Facebook lead forms or website) decides how those inquiries are used. We process that information on the business’s behalf, only to provide the service.
• For our own website and business customers: we decide how we use the information you give us, such as when you contact us.

3. Information we collect

• Business account information: names, email addresses, phone numbers and login details of people who use the platform for their business.
• Lead information received for a business: when a person submits a form on a channel the business has authorized, we receive what that person chose to submit. That can include name, email, phone, answers to the form’s questions, any consent or disclaimer responses, and technical details identifying the form, page, campaign or ad and the time of submission.
• Activity in the platform: lead status, notes, tasks and outcomes the business records.
• Website information: messages sent through our contact form, plus basic technical data, such as server logs, needed to operate and secure the website.

4. How we use information

• To deliver each lead to the business that collected it, and to let that business organize, follow up on and track it.
• To show the business which channel and form produced each lead and how it progressed.
• To operate, secure, maintain and support the platform.
• To respond to messages and requests sent to us.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use one business’s lead information for another business.

5. Information from Meta and other platforms

When a business connects an advertising platform such as Meta (Facebook or Instagram), it authorizes us through that platform’s own permission process. We access only the assets and data the business has authorized, and only to provide this service to that business. We follow the platform’s terms and policies, including Meta’s Platform Terms. A business can remove our access at any time in its platform settings.

6. How we share information

• With the business that collected the lead (that’s the purpose of the service).
• With service providers that help us run the platform, such as hosting, database and email delivery providers. They may use the information only to provide those services to us.
• When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and security of our users, customers or business.

We do not share leads between businesses, and we do not sell or rent personal information.

7. Retention

• Lead information: kept while the business’s account is active, or until the business asks us to delete it.
• Business account records: kept as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal or accounting obligations.
• After a valid deletion request: we delete or de-identify the information within 30 days, except where we must keep it by law.

8. Data deletion and your choices

Data deletion requests are handled by Soundview Designs Inc., which operates The Marketer Solutions.

Businesses using the platform

• You can remove our access to a connected channel at any time in that platform’s own settings. For Meta, go to Business Settings → Integrations / Apps.
• To delete your account and the data we hold for your business, email David@soundviewdesigns.com with the subject “Data deletion request”. Include your business name and the email address on your account.

People who submitted a form to a business

• The business you contacted controls your inquiry, so please contact that business first.
• You can also email David@soundviewdesigns.com with the subject “Data deletion request”. Tell us the business you contacted, plus the name and email or phone you submitted. We’ll help that business complete your request, or delete the information we hold on its behalf as the law allows.

What to expect

• We confirm receipt within 5 business days and complete deletion within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep certain records.
• Requests are handled by our team; there is no automated deletion form.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including access controls, encrypted connections, and restricted access to credentials and data. No system is completely secure.

10. Children

Our service is for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their information.

11. Changes

We’ll post any updates on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
